ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

If you are a new user first you need to register to the system before submitting an abstract.

If you have submitted an abstract before, you can edit your saved abstract(s) before you submit, it after entering the system with your email and password.

 

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
 

Abstract submission deadline: 1 April 2024 

The submission of the abstracts can only be done via the Oxford Abstracts Online Submission System.

The Scientific Committee has the right to change the form and category of the presentation, and to accept or reject the application.

Abstracts will be presented either in oral or poster format.

Abstracts must be prepared in English & Turkish (Only in English for foreign participants).

Abstracts must be presented in English or Turkish

The abstract text shall not exceed 300 words.

For the abstract to be accepted, the author must be registered for the congress.

Authors of the accepted abstracts must attend the Congress and present them in person. If the abstracts will not be presented at the Congress as Oral or Poster presentations, they will not be published in the Congress Book. 

Each registered author can present a maximum of 2 abstracts.

When submitting an abstract, authors should indicate their presentation preference (oral or poster).

During submission of the paper, it should be indicated which of the following subheadings the study belongs to:

  • Sport and Exercise Physiology
  • Sports Psychology
  • Athlete Nutrition
  • Metabolism and Genetics
  • Statistics in Sport
  • Sport and Equipment
  • Movement and Training Sciences
  • Sport Management
  • Athlete Health
  • Other

Only the first letter of the title should be capitalized (abbreviation in the title should not be used).

The name and surname of the authors should be clearly stated in the relevant section of the institution. However, there should not be any sentences to introduce the institution or researchers in the summary of the abstract.
The names should not include academic titles.

The abstracts should be arranged according to the following sections and these sections should not be listed as headlines in the abstract.

General Information and Purpose
Materials and Methods
Findings (numerical and/or statistical information are given)
Discussion
Conclusion

Project/research support for the proposed research should be stated in the "Acknowledgments / Note to the Scientific Committee".

Abstracts that are currently in progress and that have not yet received results and studies that do not include the sections given above will not be evaluated.

It is necessary to pay attention to misspellings to print the summaries sent via the online abstracts module. The authors are responsible for all typos.

 

ABSTRACT EVALUATION

The assessments will be made online by the Congress Scientific Committee.
The name, surname, and institution of the authors will be kept unrevealed to the committee.
For the abstract to be evaluated, the submitter must have completed the congress registration process. Acceptance/rejection letters will be sent to participants by e-mail. 
Oral Presentation program and Poster numbers will be sent to participants in a group e-mail within a week after the abstract acceptance.
